Sometimes inspiration strikes from the immersion of living in a far away place. The view of the ocean. The sound of a rainforest at sunrise. The smell of an open-air market. The embrace of the wild human experience. However, maybe the nostalgia for a certain place might be attributed instead to a feeling, or a time, or even a person. Sometimes, inspiration stems from a place that everyone can relate to, but maybe no one’s actually been. This is the music of The Hip Abduction, the vibrant St. Petersburg, FL-based collective that formed over a mutual appreciation for West African and early Jamaican reggae/dub music.

Raised on the beaches of Southern California, Aaron Smith is a rapper, actor, musician, and father who became known to the world simply as Shwayze following a massive music breakout in 2008.

The Malibu native released his debut album Buzzin’ that summer with singer-producer Cisco Adler. The duo hit the road immediately on the Vans Warped Tour wearing skinny jeans, and singing about lost weekends in Hollywood, all while bringing the most legendary parties with them wherever they went.

Straight out of Orlando, FL, Kash'd Out hits the Reggae/Rock scene with plenty of experience. Kash'd Out are no strangers to getting by and rolling with the punches while maintaining good vibes through it all. The band’s signature, positive energy and uncommon entrepreneurial hustle exemplifies the spirit behind their Music.

Eli-Mac’s story reads like a fairytale– it’s a musical journey which has turned into an impressive career that took flight with the successful release of her hit five-song EP, entitled ‘Dubstop EP’ in 2014. The project was produced by JP Kennedy of The Green and Leslie Ludiazo of Hot Rain. A Filipino native who moved with her family to Hawaii as a youngster, Camile (Eli-Mac spelled backwards) Velasco was a rebel who combined island music with R&B and hip-hop.

Herb N’ Life is a Reggae Rock band formed in Phoenix, AZ late 2020 during the lockdowns. They dropped their first single “Stay Away” in Sept 2020 and their first full length album “The Blue Album” in October 2022. Winners of the Rome (Sublime with Rome) & Duddy (The Dirty Heads) Podcast’s “Americas Got Talent” Competition in November 2021, they were invited on the the “Feelin Good with Duddy” podcast an episode after local legends Katastro.

Cash, widely recognized as Zonii, is a seasoned producer with over a decade of experience. He specializes in crafting bone-crushing bass music that will undoubtedly shake you to your core.
